What You’ll See in Your Results

The Leadership Growth Profile Self-Assessment gives you a clear, visual snapshot of how you lead in practice.

Your results show how your leadership behaviours tend to show up across two dimensions: constructive leadership habits that drive great outcomes, and reactive habits that reduce your impact and potential.

You’ll see how these patterns influence three outcomes that matter most in real leadership work:

1. Performance: Execution, accountability, and follow-through

2. Learning: Adaptability and innovation

3. Great Workplace: Safety, engagement, and collaboration

The self-assessment is designed to give you an educated view of how you perceive your own leadership strengths and limitations, and where you can make immediate improvements.

What the Leadership Growth Profile Measures

Green Zone Leadership Practices

The assessment measures six evidence-based Green Zone leadership practices. Drawn from extensive research, these are the behaviours consistently linked to strong performance, continuous learning, innovation, and a healthy workplace.

These practices are grouped across three essential leadership disciplines:

  • Align: Creating shared purpose and leading from clear values.

  • Achieve: Driving results through clarity, accountability, care and emotional intelligence.

  • Grow: Enabling learning, navigating complexity, empowering, and developing others.

Your results show where these practices are currently strong and where greater focus would have the greatest impact.

Red Zone Stress Patterns

The Leadership Growth Profile also measures Red Zone behaviours. These are the stress-based, habitual responses that tend to operate unconsciously.

Red Zone behaviours are organised around three core drivers:

  • Approval: Seeking acceptance or validation at the expense of honesty, clarity, or accountability.

  • Control: Pushing for certainty or results in ways that reduce trust, psychological safety and engagement.

  • Safety: Prioritising self-protection in ways that limit openness, learning, or decisive action.

Seeing these patterns clearly is essential, because what we cannot see, we cannot outgrow.

Self-Regulation at the Centre

At the core of the Leadership Growth Profile is self-regulation. This is your ability to notice, manage, and redirect your reactions in real time.

Self-regulation sits at the centre of the profile because it governs everything else. Without it, even strong leadership intentions break down under stress.

Together, these elements reveal where your leadership is effective, and what to focus on next to improve performance, learning, and engagement.

What You Receive in Your Report

A Clear Visual Leadership Profile

Your results are presented as a single, integrated visual that brings together self-regulation, Green Zone practices, and Red Zone stress patterns.

Behavioural Scores and Percentiles

The report includes scored results across each leadership practice and stress pattern, shown as percentiles relative to a global leadership database.

You’ll be able to see:

  • How you perceive your performance strengths and gaps.

  • Where your leadership is working well.

  • Which behaviours may be limiting performance, learning, or your team's engagement.

Practice-Level Detail You Can Act On

Each leadership practice and Red Zone pattern is measured by specific behaviours.

This allows you to move beyond general feedback and focus on concrete actions—what to strengthen, what to interrupt, and what to pay attention to under pressure.
